Transparency Dashboard

Public Act 506 of 2012 requires all public road agencies receiving Act 51 funds (fuel tax and vehicle registration fees) to provide a web-based transparency dashboard. Transparency keeps residents informed about the administration of their county road and bridge network. In addition to the links below, a statewide dashboard is available allowing individuals to compare various agencies.

Title VI Non-Discrimination Plan

The Michigan Transportation Asset Management Council provides a dashboard to show the condition, operation, and investment in Michigan’s public road system from the Transportation Asset Management Council (TAMC) website. By viewing the gauges a person can measure the performance of their county road agency and compare performance for roads under the jurisdiction of the State of Michigan, counties, cities and villages.

Pavement – gauges the condition of paved road surfaces

Bridge – gauges the condition of bridges based on bi-annual bridge inspections

Traffic – gauges the estimated annual miles on roadways in each jurisdiction

Safety – gauges the number of traffic accidents to measure how effectively the road system is performing

Maintenance – gauges the activities of snow removal, patching, grading, and mowing

Finance – gauges revenue and expenditures according to Public Act 51 reporting
