Join the County Road Association of Michigan!

Joining CRA as an Associate Member opens doors that include networking options, business-to-business relationships and sponsorship opportunities that can connect you with decision makers at county road agencies.

CRA relies on Associate Members to help fulfill its objective of bringing high-quality programming and learning opportunities to all 83 county road agencies by helping to underwrite them. In return, Associate Members build relationships with CRA members via seminars, golf outings and workshops, to name a few. Associate Members in good standing are also invited to attend Legal Issues Forums, half-day workshops on legal issues affecting county road agencies and Associate Members.

In addition, Associate Members can advertise in CRA’s quarterly magazine, Crossroads, and in the annual CRA Member Directory, and both publications are in high demand for CRA members.

Event Discounts and Professional Development Opportunities

Associate Members (AMs) are able to sign up for AM events including webinars, Lunch ‘N’ Learns and more. Topics can vary but can include writing better bids, understanding who does what at road agencies and more. Associate Membership also gives you discounts to CRA events.

A Wealth of Resources

CRA has recognized the need for AMs to access valuable information to give insights for doing business with county road agencies. Associate Membership gives you access to two AM publications including AM Update and AM News. AM Update notifies you monthly of sponsorship and advertising opportunities, events and other time-sensitive information. AM News provides quarterly insights that may help sharpen skills such as creating eye-catching ads and utilizing areas of opportunity on our website.

Abundant Networking Opportunities

CRA provides AMs with numerous face-to-face interactions throughout the entire year. This allows unparalleled access to target customers from county road agencies throughout the state. Whether your customer is a finance and HR professional, an engineer, a managing director, road commissioner or clerk you will find an event to reach them.

Showcase Support of Michigan’s County Road Agencies

CRA Associate Member status tells road agencies your company has worked successfully with government organizations and exposes you to potential new clientele. It also tells Michigan county road agencies that you support the work they do.

To become an Associate Member, submit the Associate Member application, $395 membership fee and provide a letter of reference from a Michigan county road agency or a state or federal governmental organization. MDOT-prequalified contractors, approved suppliers or manufacturers, and MDOT-certified disadvantaged business enterprises do not need to submit a reference letter but must submit verification of certification.
