Sponsorship Opportunities

Offering solutions through business connections…
Networking, information sharing and facetime give your company numerous opportunities to make long-lasting connections with decision makers at Michigan’s 83 county road agencies!

CRA’s events are an opportunity for your company to gain insights to help you tailor products and services that meet the changing needs of Michigan’s county road agencies from urban to rural.

Sponsorship opportunities available for Associate Members include:

Highway Conference and Road Show

CRA’s most popular event of the year is this three-day conference and two-day trade show that continues to get bigger and better. With more than 1,000 attendees, dozens of breakout sessions and state-of-the-art equipment on display – all in the heart of downtown Lansing – the Highway Conference and Road Show is a can’t-miss-event for any Associate Member.

The networking and business-to-business opportunities are endless as the event draws managing directors, legislators, finance and human resource professionals, foremen, engineers, MDOT officials, township and county officials and many more.

More than 100 vendors from across the country and Canada attend to connect with CRA members and Associate Members. The event often has a waitlist due to high demand for vendor space.

For questions about the Road Show or to reserve your vendor spot or sponsorship package, contact Shelby Eva at seva@micountyroads.org or 517.482.1189.

“Many of us from the Barry County Road Commission attend the CRA Highway Conference and Road Show every year. The sheer size and scope of the Road Show doesn’t allow us to miss the opportunity to network in one location with that many people within our industry. Meeting new people and maintaining relationships with companies we already do business with makes for a great event. Annually we look forward to learning about new companies, and the newest industry trends to take back to our community to utilize.”
Jake Welch, Assistant Managing Director, Barry County Road Commission.

“I found the Road Show at the CRA Annual Highway Conference to be very informative and educational. There were many equipment, materials and supplies experts as well as consultants and others that we would not ordinarily have a chance to talk with in a relaxed environment unrelated to a specific project or crisis. This is a great way to develop contacts, learn about vendors, suppliers and contractors and generally expand our knowledge base.”
Craig Bryson, Senior Manager of Communications and Public Information, Road Commission for Oakland County.

“The Road Show is a fantastic way to meet new commissioners, county road agency staff, and old friends in a relaxed atmosphere. It provides an “avenue” where we can show off equipment to the commissioners that are usually not available to see what we offer. We really appreciate the networking and business opportunities the Road Show offers.”
Jeff Ely, Governmental Sales Manager, AIS Construction Equipment.

Commissioners Seminar

This two-day event is intended for decision makers from all 83 county road agencies, making it an ideal sponsorship opportunity for any Associate Member looking to reach that audience. A variety of sponsorship levels are available.

The event kicks off with a traditional “indoor picnic” to break the ice and continues with two days of quality sessions designed for road commissioners who serve as the board of directors for their road agencies. A reception and banquet provide additional social and business opportunities with road commissioners and staff representatives from county road agencies.

Get facetime with county road agency finance and human resources professionals!

Vendor tables available at the Finance and Human Resources Seminar give you an opportunity to spend more facetime educating attendees on your products and services.

You can also showcase your company’s support throughout the event with sponsorship opportunities for the welcome reception, banquet and breakfast and lunch breaks!

Northern Michigan Association of Road Commissions Conference

Join more than 200 road agency staff members at this annual joint conference of associations that represent nearly every road agency in the Lower Peninsula, although members from all over the state attend. The event features a welcome reception and associate membership picnic that is an excellent setting to network with attendees and build relationships that could open doors.

In addition, NMARC features numerous informational sessions, a silent auction and a social environment to connect with officials from county road agencies. This is a terrific opportunity to get your name and company in front of county road agencies.

Superintendents Seminar

This three-day event features a trade show and outdoor equipment show and two days of sessions and demonstrations. The seminar is coordinated by the Superintendent Association of Michigan (SAM), a standing CRA committee. This highly engaging seminar brings together superintendents, foremen and other staff members from county road agencies from across the state. Multiple sponsorship and exhibit opportunities are available for Associate Members in good standing.

Communications Workshop

Continued funding for Michigan’s county transportation infrastructure depends on local agencies’ ability to tell their stories effectively using the latest public relations tactics! The fall Communications Workshop provides that assistance and knowledge.

Sponsorship of this critical workshop gives your company exposure on CRA social media accounts and event promotional materials, and the opportunity to distribute company literature at the event.

The symposium is a half-day workshop on legal issues affecting county road agencies and Associate Members, while the CRA Education Series covers various core knowledge fields in a half-day seminar.

Associate Members can sponsor both events for one price, providing double the exposure.
