    The Road Commission for Ionia County seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bid proposals will be received by the Road Commission for Ionia County at 170 E. Riverside Drive, P.O. Box 76, Ionia, Michigan 48846 until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 2nd, 2015 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing and delivering the following:

    Proposals, plans, bid forms, and other information is available at the Road Commission for Ionia County Office at the above address, or at www.ioniacountyroads.org or by requesting a bid package be mailed by telephone at (616) 527-1700.

    The 2012 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction shall apply for this project except as superseded by additional supplemental contract language.

    Proposals shall be completed on the provided form(s). Proposals shall be signed by an authorized agent of the contractor, and submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked on the outside “Sealed Bid for Contract Number 15-20” and the words “Chip Seal”.     Renewal Options:

    The Van Buren County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Alcona County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Road Commission of Kalamazoo County & the City of Kalamazoo seek bids for the following:

    In the spirit of intergovernmental cooperation, the Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (KCKC) and the City of Kalamazoo (jointly known as the ‘entities’) are collectively seeking bids for Pavement Line Striping & Specialty Pavement Marking throughout the County.  The work will be performed at different times, locations and for each entity, as provided for in the specifications.  The RCKC is the lead agency for this procurement and its bid terms are included in this document.  Bidders (contractors) must be listed on the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Prequalified Contractors Directory for N-3 Pavement Markings to bid on this work.  Bidders will have the opportunity to either bid on a portion of the work (division) or may bid on the entire scope of the work.  Separate contracts for the work will be issued and managed by each entity and will contain that entity’s own terms and conditions.  Such terms and conditions are included in the appendices for reference.  

    The RCKC and the City of Kalamazoo reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the respective entity.  Each division may be awarded separately or jointly as may be determined to be in the best interest of the contracting entity.  The Contractor’s qualifications to complete the work in a timely and satisfactory manner will be considered in making the award.

    Consultants and their sub‐consultants shall be experienced in MDOT road design / stream crossing replacement.   Submittal shall be limited to 1‐2 pages of description of how the company can best provide services for Wexford County Road Commission, then resumes of the Inspectors/ office technician shall be included along with a list of each of their certifications as well as a list of the companies MDOT prequalification’s for construction services.  

    The Consultant/Consultants will be selected using a quality based selection process. The selection team will review the information submitted and will select the firm considered most qualified to perform the services based on the proposals.     The Cheboygan County Road Commission will accept sealed proposals for construction engineering services for the Mann Road project until 1:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at: 5302 South Straits Highway, Indian River, MI 49749. The project is a Federal Aid funded project. All FHWA standards must be followed for inspection and testing.
