    The Washtenaw County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received at the Administration Building of the Washtenaw County Road Commission at their office, 555 North Zeeb Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103 until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for furnishing the following:

    Proposals, bid forms and other information are available at the office of the Road Commission at the above address.

    Bids must be completed on the provided form and shall be signed by an authorized agent of the bidder and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked on the outside as to the contents. Bids failing to meet this requirement will not be considered.

    The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of same; to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to make the award in part or entirety as may appear to be in the best interest of the County of Washtenaw.

     
    The Shiawassee County Road Commission seeks bids for the following: *See update below

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Shiawassee County Road Commission, 701 W. Corunna Avenue, Corunna, Michigan 48817-1229 until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 and opened at 3:30 p.m. for the period of November 1, 2014 through October 31, 2015 fuel bids:

    A card system bid is required for bidders fuel station. Pick up within Shiawassee County

    Contract period will be from November 1, 2014 to October 31, 2015. All Bids must be in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside as to the contents.

    Bids will be accepted on the Fuel Bid Specification Sheet.

    "The Shiawassee County Road Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964,78 Stat. 252,42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code
    of Federal Regulations, Department of Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award."

    The Genesee County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received until 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST), Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Genesee County Road Commission, located at 211 W. Oakley Street, Flint, Michigan for the following items:

    The Ionia County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bid proposals will be received by the Road Commission for Ionia County at 170 E. Riverside Drive, P.O. Box 76, Ionia, Michigan 48846 until 9:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing and delivering the following:

    Proposals, plans, bid forms, and other information is available at the Road Commission for Ionia County Office at the above address or by requesting a bid package be mailed by telephone at (616) 527-1700.

    The 2012 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction shall apply for this project, including additional supplemental contract language.

    Bids shall be completed on the provided form(s). Bids shall be signed by an authorized agent of the bidder, and submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked on the outside the Contract Number and the words Kellogg Road. Bids failing to meet these requirements will not be considered.  Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

    The Ionia Township Board and the Ionia County Board of Road Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive irregularities and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of Ionia Township and the Ionia County Road Commission respectively.

     
    The Kalamazoo County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Kalamazoo County Road Commission (KCRC), at its offices at 3801 East Kilgore Road, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49001, Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 9:00 am at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the following:

    Bids must be on forms supplied by KCRC and in sealed envelopes with the item and date of opening clearly marked.

    The KCRC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid and to award the bids(s) they deem in the best interest of the KCRC.

    The Alpena County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Alpena County Road Commission at their offices at 1400 North Bagley Street, Alpena, Michigan, 49707, until 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2014, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read, for the following:

    The Road Commission-supplied truck will be equipped with a 14-foot dump body, underbody scraper, tailgate spreader, wing plow, and a hydraulic system to operate the equipment.

    The proposal forms and instructions may be obtained at the office of the Road Commission at the above  address or will be mailed upon request.  No proposal will be received unless made on proposal forms furnished by and delivered to the Alpena County Road Commission prior to the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals set forth above.  Each proposal must be sealed and plainly marked “Tandem Axle Truck Equipment Bid”, along with the time and date of the bid opening on the outside of the envelope. Bid envelopes must clearly identify the bidder.

    Bidders shall mark either yes or no in spaces provided indicating if there is compliance for each portion of the specification.  No equipment will be considered to exceed the specification.  It either meets or does not meet the specification.

    The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities in any proposal, or to make the award as appears to be in the best interest of the Alpena County Road Commission.

     
    The Ionia County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Ionia County Road Commissioners until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Commission offices for:

    The contractor shall certify that all materials and construction meet current Michigan Department of Transportation specifications.  All bids will meet or exceed the specifications established by the Ionia County Road Commission and/or Michigan Department of Transportation. 

    The bid form is to be returned in a sealed envelope and plainly marked “Sealed Bid for Removal of Dead Deer” and shall include the name and address of the bidder.  Further information upon which bids shall be based is available at the road commission office, (616) 527-1700 or www.ioniacountyroads.org on the “Doing Business” page.

    The Ionia County Road Commission and/or Michigan Department of Transportation reserve the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive irregularities therein, and to accept any proposals which, in their opinion, may be most advantageous and to the best interest of Ionia County.

     
    The Road Commission for Oakland County seeks bids for the following:          

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Road Commissioners at their administrative office, 31001 Lahser Road, Beverly Hills MI 48025, in the Clerk’s Office until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for:

    A contract for snow removal on approximately 560 miles of specified roads in Oakland County, MI on an as-needed basis (snow events of 6 inches or greater).  No MDOT pre-qualification is required for this project.

    The Road Commission for Oakland County seeks RFQs for the following:

    Interested consulting engineering firms must submit three copies of their Qualification Statement no later than 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2014 for:

    Services will be performed on various federal, state and locally-funded road and bridge projects for Fiscal Years 2015-2017.

    Specific information regarding criteria for selection; the scope of engineering services that may be requested; RCOC’s procedures for requesting services; and additional requirements for project design is available at www.rcocweb.org “About Us Menu”, within the Meetings and the Calendar of Events sections under the date of November 14, 2014, and under Doing Business with the RCOC–Construction Projects.  Questions may be directed to the Engineering Department at 248-645-2000 ext. 2265.

    The Road Commission for Oakland County reserves the right to reject any or all of the Qualification Statements received and to re-solicit engineering services at its sole discretion.  Qualification Statements received after the above described deadline will not be opened for consideration.

     
    The Washtenaw County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received at the Administration Building of the Washtenaw County Road Commission at their office, 555 North Zeeb Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan until 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for furnishing the following:

    Proposals, bid forms and other information is available at the office of the Road Commission at the above address.

    Mandatory walk-throughs for each building are scheduled as follows:

    Building “A” - Administration Building - Meet at 555 North Zeeb, Ann Arbor at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  The walk-through will last approximately one hour.

    Building “B” - Southeast Service Center - Meet at 5250 West Michigan Avenue, Ypsilanti at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014.  The walk-through will last approximately one hour.

    To bid on a building you need to attend that building’s walk-through at the time specified above.  If you do not attend the walk-through for that building you will not be able to submit a bid for that building.

    Bids must be completed on the provided form(s) and shall be signed by an authorized agent of the bidder and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked on the outside as to the contents.  Bids failing to meet this requirement will not be considered.  Bids cannot be submitted by telephone or fax.
