    The Eaton County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Eaton, Michigan at 1112 Reynolds Road, Charlotte, MI 48813, until 1:00 pm, Monday, September 22, 2014 at which time and place proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

    Specifications, bid blanks, and further information may be obtained online at www.eatoncountyroad.com or at the offices of the Eaton County Road Commission, 1112 Reynolds Road, Charlotte, MI, 48813, Telephone (517) 543-1630 or (877) 883-2866.

    All proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the bidder and clearly marked with a notation indicating the service or material for which the bid is submitted. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in any proposal, and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County of Eaton.

    The Crawford County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Crawford County Road Commission will received sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. (for a bid opening during their regular meeting), on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at their Grayling office located at 500 Huron Street, Grayling, MI 49738, for the following quantities of cutting edges:

    Bidders are urged to bid on various sizes and styles. Bidders are urged to quote on other types of blades, i.e., 5/8” & 3/4" thickness, other cross-sections, etc.  Bid prices shall include delivery to the Grayling garage. Delivery within thirty (30) days unless otherwise specified. Prices shall be good for One (1) year after the date of award of bid.

    The Board reserves the right to add or delete quantities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding and to award the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Crawford County.

     
    The Kalamazoo County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Kalamazoo County Road Commission (KCRC), at its offices at 3801 East Kilgore Road, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49001, Monday, September 29, 2014 at 10:30 am at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the following:

    Bids must be on forms supplied by KCRC and in sealed envelopes with the item and date of opening clearly marked.

    The Benzie County Road Commission  seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received  until October 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Benzie County Road Commission, 11318 Main St, Honor, MI  49640, for the purchase, delivery and installation of mobile radios and AVL System software on an existing Road Commission server.  The vendor shall provide and install the radios and software as a complete project.  Bid documents are available by calling 231-325-3051 or by email.  Vendors shall submit all proposals in sealed envelopes, plainly marked with reference on the bid package state "Radio System Upgrade".  Telephone or faxed bids will not be accepted.

     
    The Alpena County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Alpena County Road Commission, 1400 North Bagley Street, Alpena, MI  49707, until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for the removal of the existing fuel dispenser system and the supply, delivery and installation of a new fuel management system.

    All bidders must inspect the existing system prior to bidding to familiarize themselves with the conditions of the site and equipment.  It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to determine and provide all materials required and incorporate all such items in their proposal.

    Bid packages may be obtained at the Road Commission office at the above address, or will be mailed upon request by telephoning 989-354-3252.

    All proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name of the bidder, the item bid on, and the date of the bid opening clearly marked on the front of the envelope.  No faxed or e-mailed bids will be accepted.

    Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, bank money order, or bidder’s bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, payable to the Alpena County Road Commission, as a guarantee of good faith.  This proposal guarantee shall be forfeited in case of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract and furnish satisfactory bonds, as required, within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after being furnished with the necessary contract and bond forms.

    The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; to waive irregularities and/or informalities; and to accept, in whole or in part, any proposal which, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interest of the County of Alpena.
