    The Berrien County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Berrien, 2860 East Napier Avenue, Benton Harbor, Michigan  49022 until 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 21, 2014 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

    All bids will be tabulated and presented to the Board of County Road Commissioners at their next regular meeting.

    All bids shall be signed in ink and sealed in an envelope with the name of the items bid upon and the name of the bidder plainly marked on the outside.  Specifications and proposal blanks may be obtained at the office of the Berrien County Road Commission.

    The Mason County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Mason will receive sealed bids at 510 E. State Street, P.O. Box 247, Scottville, Michigan until 10:00 a.m., local time, Monday, July 21, 2014 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read for furnishing the following materials and services:

    Bid Forms and Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Mason County Road Commission.  All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the Bidder and appropriately marked as to the item being bid.

    The Commission reserves the right to accept any and all bids, in part or entirety; waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid, which in their opinion is in the best interest of the Mason County Road Commission and the County of Mason.

    The Mason County Road Commission is in compliance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended.

     
    The Monroe County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Monroe until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at their office located at 840 South Telegraph Road, Monroe, Michigan, 48161 for Full Depth Reclamation Stabilized Base Course on various roads in Bedford, Frenchtown and Ida Townships, Monroe County, Michigan. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Bid Committee at 2:00 p.m. Significant bid items of work and approximate quantities are as follows:

    The Road Commission for Oakland County seeks bids for road construction

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Road Commissioners at their administrative office, 31001 Lahser Road, Beverly Hills MI 48025, in the Clerk’s Office until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for:

    The Branch County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be taken by the Board of Road Commissioners for the County of Branch, at their office located at 23 East Garfield Avenue, Coldwater, Michigan 49036, (517) 278-2022, FAX (517) 278-6126, on July 24, 2014 at 11:00am for the purchase of new equipment specified:

    All proposals are to be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the bidder and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope as to the contents bid.

    The Board of Branch County Road Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive irregularities therein, and to accept any bid which, in the opinion of the Board, may be most advantageous and to the best interest of the County of Branch.

    The Crawford County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Crawford County Road Commission will receive sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. (for a bid opening during the regular meeting) commencing at 4:30 p.m., on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at their Grayling office located at 500 Huron Street, Grayling, MI 49738-0648, for furnishing the following:

    Bidding documents are available upon request.

    Contractor shall provide Certificate of Insurance prior to commencing work.  Certificate shall include:

    1) Board of County Road Commissioners and the Crawford County Road Commission named as additional insured to all coverage, 2) Bodily Injury Liability – each person - $500,000.00 each occurrence, 3) Bodily Injury Liability – each accident - $1,000,000.00, 4) Property Damage Liability – each accident - $1,000,000.00, 5). Single Limit Policy - $1,000,000.00 and 6) Worker's compensation- statutory limits.

    The Board reserves the right to add or delete projects and quantities, which are deemed to be in the best interest of the Crawford County Road Commission.

    Submit bids in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked with the words: "Paving Bid".

    Crawford County Road Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bid, to waive details in the specifications, to add or delete quantities or projects to or from the bid and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Crawford County.

     
    Ingham County seeks bids for the following:

    A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 24, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. local time prevailing, in Conference Room A of the Human Service Building.Attendance at this meeting is important in order to fully understand the bid documents.  Please send a representative to this meeting if you are planning on bidding. The purpose of this meeting is to allow proposers an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation.  Any material changes resulting from this meeting will be issued in a written addendum.     Genesee County Road Commission seeks bids for:

    Sealed proposals for the performance of work listed below will be received by The Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Genesee, Michigan at 211 West Oakley Street, Flint, Michigan until 10:00 a.m., July 28, 2014, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project.

    0.24 miles, more or less of HMA cold milling, concrete curb & gutter reconstruction, driveway reconstruction, HMA resurfacing, drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous items of work within the Partridge Creek Subdivision, Grand Blanc Township, Genesee County, Michigan.

    The Alpena County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Alpena County Road Commission at their offices at 1400 North Bagley Street, Alpena, Michigan, 49707, until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014, for the above project, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

    Approximate quantities of principal items of work are as follows: Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, bank money order, or bidders' bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, payable to the Alpena County Road Commission, as a guarantee of good faith. This proposal guarantee shall be forfeited in case of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract and furnish satisfactory bonds, as required, within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after being furnished with the necessary contract and bond forms.

    The plans, proposal forms and instructions may be obtained at the office of the Road Commission at the above address or will be mailed upon request. No proposal will be received unless made on proposal forms furnished by and delivered to the Alpena County Road Commission prior to the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals set forth above. Each proposal must be sealed and plainly marked with the name of the project, bid opening date, and bid opening time on the outside of the envelope.

    The Ottawa County Road Commission seeks bids for:

    Sealed bids will be received by the Ottawa County Road Commission, Rosy Mound Drive at US-31, P.O. Box 739, Grand Haven, Michigan 49417 until 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 7, 2014, for the following:

    Work on this project shall consist of the following:

    0.36 miles of road reconstruction, including tree removal, grading, subbase, geogrid placement, aggregate base, culverts, storm sewer, aggregate driveways, and restoration in Zeeland Township, Ottawa County.
    Specifications and bidding blanks may be obtained at the Road Commission office at the above address. A non-refundable payment of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) will be required for each set of bidding documents. An additional non-refundable payment of Ten Dollars ($10.00) will be required for mailing the bidding documents. Plans and specifications are available for inspection at no charge at the above address.
    Each bid must be submitted on the form supplied by the Road Commission in a sealed envelope, plainly marked as to the ITEM being bid upon and the NAME OF THE BIDDER.
    The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and award the Contract in any manner to be in the best interest of the County of Ottawa.
