    The Ogemaw County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed Bids for the construction of the Prefabricated Timber Bridge on Flynn Road over Houghton Creek will be received by the Ogemaw County Road Commission, at 1250 South M-33, until 9:00 am local time on May 20, 2015. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the Ogemaw County Road Commission Board Meeting on May 20, 2015 at the Ogemaw County Road Commission. The Project consists of constructing a prefabricated timber bridge on Flynn Road over Houghton Creek.

    Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

    The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Huron Engineering and Surveying, Inc., 3205 US-23 South, Alpena, MI 49707, 989-356-6375. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

    Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $15.00, including shipping via overnight express service. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $25.00 per set, payable to “Huron Engineering and Surveying, Inc.”. Also, Bidding Documents may be received at no charge electronically via e-mail. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.     The Crawford County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Crawford County Road Commission will receive sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. (for a bid opening during the regular meeting) commencing at 4:30 p.m., on Thursday, May 21st at their Grayling office located at 500 Huron Street, Grayling, MI 49738-0648, for furnishing the following:

    Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining an approved mix design, which must be submitted and approved by the Crawford County Road Commission prior to commencement of work. Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all recycled asphalt pavement for the entire bid quantity.

    Completion date: June 30,2015

    Crawford County Road Commission will provide flag personnel and traffic control devices during construction. All materials must meet current Michigan Department of Transportation specifications. Material test reports and weight tickets shall be provided in English units. Additional information may be obtained at the office of the undersigned.

    Bidding documents are available upon request.

    Contractor shall provide Certificate of Insurance prior to commencing work. Certificate shall include:
    1) Board of County Road Commissioners and the Crawford County Road Commission named as additional insured to all coverage,
    2) Bodily Injury Liability - each person - $500,000.00 each occurrence,
    3) Bodily Injury Liability - each accident - $1,000,000.00,
    4) Property Damage Liability - each accident - $1,000,000.00,
    5). Single Limit Policy - $1,000,000.00 and
    6) Worker's compensation- statutory limits.

    The Board reserves the right to add or delete projects and quantities, which are deemed to be in the best interest of the Crawford County Road Commission.

    The Genesee County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Cheboygan County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Cheboygan County Road Commission will accept sealed bids for its Summer 2015 Over-Band Crack Fill & Crack Pre-treatment preventative maintenance program.  Bidder must supply  all necessary labor, equipment and materials for the Cheboygan County Commission over-band crack fill program, this also includes traffic control and mobilization. All traffic control operations must comply with the requirements set forth in the current Michigan Manual of Uniform traffic Control Devices. All materials and applications of material must meet MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction.  The successful Contractor shall submit material information to the Road Commission.  The Road Commission will provide written approval of material to the Contractor. The Contractor must have written approval prior to any work being completed.

    No work shall be scheduled on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Holiday periods as defined by the CCRC. Contactor shall notify the Engineer Technician not less than one (1) business day prior to commencing work.

    Bids shall be Submitted on the enclosed CCRC Crack Sealing Bid Sheet in the Sealed envelope clearly identifying the bidder and marked "Crack Sealing."

    Bids will be received at the Road Commission Office in Indian River until 2:00 P.M., June 2, 2015.  The bids will be opened and read aloud shortly after.

    The contractor shall certify that all materials and equipment meet current Michigan Department of Transportation specifications.  All bids will meet or exceed the specifications established by the Ionia County Road Commission and/or the Michigan Department of Transportation.
