    The Alpena County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Alpena County Road Commission at their offices at 1400 North Bagley Street, Alpena, Michigan, 49707, until 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2014, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read, for the following:

    The Road Commission-supplied truck will be equipped with a 14-foot dump body, underbody scraper, tailgate spreader, wing plow, and a hydraulic system to operate the equipment.

    The proposal forms and instructions may be obtained at the office of the Road Commission at the above  address or will be mailed upon request.  No proposal will be received unless made on proposal forms furnished by and delivered to the Alpena County Road Commission prior to the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals set forth above.  Each proposal must be sealed and plainly marked “Tandem Axle Truck Equipment Bid”, along with the time and date of the bid opening on the outside of the envelope. Bid envelopes must clearly identify the bidder.

    Bidders shall mark either yes or no in spaces provided indicating if there is compliance for each portion of the specification.  No equipment will be considered to exceed the specification.  It either meets or does not meet the specification.

    The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities in any proposal, or to make the award as appears to be in the best interest of the Alpena County Road Commission.

     
    The Ionia County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Ionia County Road Commissioners until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Commission offices for:

    The contractor shall certify that all materials and construction meet current Michigan Department of Transportation specifications.  All bids will meet or exceed the specifications established by the Ionia County Road Commission and/or Michigan Department of Transportation. 

    The bid form is to be returned in a sealed envelope and plainly marked “Sealed Bid for Removal of Dead Deer” and shall include the name and address of the bidder.  Further information upon which bids shall be based is available at the road commission office, (616) 527-1700 or www.ioniacountyroads.org on the “Doing Business” page.

    The Ionia County Road Commission and/or Michigan Department of Transportation reserve the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive irregularities therein, and to accept any proposals which, in their opinion, may be most advantageous and to the best interest of Ionia County.

     
    The Road Commission for Oakland County seeks bids for the following:          

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Road Commissioners at their administrative office, 31001 Lahser Road, Beverly Hills MI 48025, in the Clerk’s Office until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for:

    A contract for snow removal on approximately 560 miles of specified roads in Oakland County, MI on an as-needed basis (snow events of 6 inches or greater).  No MDOT pre-qualification is required for this project.

    The Genesee County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received until 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST), Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at the Genesee County Road Commission, located at 211 W. Oakley Street, Flint, Michigan for the following items:

    The Cheboygan County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    The Cheboygan County Road Commission will receive sealed bids for:

    Bidders shall include a written statement of allowable discounts, terms of payments and excepted delivery on Company Stationery. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Cheboygan County Road Commission facility located at 5302 S. Straits Hwy., Indian River MI.

    All bids shall be submitted on Cheboygan County Road Commission bid sheets in a sealed envelope clearly identifying the bidder and marked “ ¾  Ton Regular Cab, ¾ Ton Extended Cab, 1 Ton-4 Door Crew Cab”.  All bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days from date of bid opening.  Bids must be submitted to the Cheboygan County Road Commission office, 5302 S. Straits Hwy., Indian River MI 49749 no later than 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 11, 2014.

    Bids will be opened and read at that time.  Bids requiring review of the Road Commission staff for recommendations will be awarded at the Road Commission Boards earliest convenience.  Bid Tabulations will be available for review in the afternoon of Wednesday, November 12, 2014.

    The Cheboygan County Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part; to waive irregularities or informalities; and to award bids, in whole or in part, as deemed to be in the best interest of the Cheboygan County Road Commission.

     
    The St. Joseph County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of St. Joseph will receive bids for the sale of one (1), 1999 325BL Caterpillar excavator until 1:00 p.m., EST, Tuesday, November 11, 2014, in its office on M-86 west of Centreville, Michigan. Such bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud on the same date at 1:00 p.m.

Such bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud on the same date at 1:00 p.m.

    The bids shall be submitted on prepared proposal forms, sealed in an envelope and marked “Granular CL IIIA Material”. Prepared proposal forms may be obtained upon request at the above office or on the website www.stjoeroads.com until time of opening.

    The Road Commission for Oakland County seeks RFQs for the following:

    Interested consulting engineering firms must submit three copies of their Qualification Statement no later than 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2014 for:

    Services will be performed on various federal, state and locally-funded road and bridge projects for Fiscal Years 2015-2017.

    Specific information regarding criteria for selection; the scope of engineering services that may be requested; RCOC’s procedures for requesting services; and additional requirements for project design is available at www.rcocweb.org “About Us Menu”, within the Meetings and the Calendar of Events sections under the date of November 14, 2014, and under Doing Business with the RCOC–Construction Projects.  Questions may be directed to the Engineering Department at 248-645-2000 ext. 2265.

    The Road Commission for Oakland County reserves the right to reject any or all of the Qualification Statements received and to re-solicit engineering services at its sole discretion.  Qualification Statements received after the above described deadline will not be opened for consideration.

     
    Ingham County seeks bids for the following:

    Ingham County is seeking bids for its 2014/15 season’s requirements of Single Tungsten Carbide insert grader blades for the Ingham County Road Department.  Bids will be received no later than 11:00 A.M., local time prevailing, on November 18, 2014 at which time they will be opened in public and read aloud.  Details at: http://pu.ingham.org, under Current Bids link, Pkt 120-14.

     
    The Washtenaw County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received at the Administration Building of the Washtenaw County Road Commission at their office, 555 North Zeeb Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan until 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for furnishing the following:

    Proposals, bid forms and other information is available at the office of the Road Commission at the above address.

    Mandatory walk-throughs for each building are scheduled as follows:

    Building “A” - Administration Building - Meet at 555 North Zeeb, Ann Arbor at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  The walk-through will last approximately one hour.

    Building “B” - Southeast Service Center - Meet at 5250 West Michigan Avenue, Ypsilanti at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014.  The walk-through will last approximately one hour.

    To bid on a building you need to attend that building’s walk-through at the time specified above.  If you do not attend the walk-through for that building you will not be able to submit a bid for that building.

    Bids must be completed on the provided form(s) and shall be signed by an authorized agent of the bidder and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked on the outside as to the contents.  Bids failing to meet this requirement will not be considered.  Bids cannot be submitted by telephone or fax.

    The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of same; to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to make the award in part or entirety as may appear to be in the best interest of the County of Washtenaw.
