    The Benzie County Road Commission  seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be received  until October 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Benzie County Road Commission, 11318 Main St, Honor, MI  49640, for the purchase, delivery and installation of mobile radios and AVL System software on an existing Road Commission server.  The vendor shall provide and install the radios and software as a complete project.  Bid documents are available by calling 231-325-3051 or by email.  Vendors shall submit all proposals in sealed envelopes, plainly marked with reference on the bid package state "Radio System Upgrade".  Telephone or faxed bids will not be accepted.

     
    The Alpena County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Alpena County Road Commission, 1400 North Bagley Street, Alpena, MI  49707, until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for the removal of the existing fuel dispenser system and the supply, delivery and installation of a new fuel management system.

    All bidders must inspect the existing system prior to bidding to familiarize themselves with the conditions of the site and equipment.  It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to determine and provide all materials required and incorporate all such items in their proposal.

    Bid packages may be obtained at the Road Commission office at the above address, or will be mailed upon request by telephoning 989-354-3252.

    All proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name of the bidder, the item bid on, and the date of the bid opening clearly marked on the front of the envelope.  No faxed or e-mailed bids will be accepted.

    Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, bank money order, or bidder’s bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, payable to the Alpena County Road Commission, as a guarantee of good faith.  This proposal guarantee shall be forfeited in case of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract and furnish satisfactory bonds, as required, within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after being furnished with the necessary contract and bond forms.

    The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; to waive irregularities and/or informalities; and to accept, in whole or in part, any proposal which, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interest of the County of Alpena.

     
    The Genesee County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received until 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST), Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Genesee County Road Commission, located at 211 W. Oakley Street, Flint, Michigan for the following items:

    The Shiawassee County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Shiawassee County Road Commission, 701 W. Corunna Avenue, Corunna, Michigan 48817-1229 until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 and opened at 3:30 p.m. for the period of November 1, 2014 through October 31, 2015 fuel bids:

    A card system bid is required for bidders fuel station. Pick up within Shiawassee County

    Contract period will be from November 1, 2014 to October 31, 2015. All Bids must be in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside as to the contents.

    Bids will be accepted on the Fuel Bid Specification Sheet.

    "The Shiawassee County Road Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964,78 Stat. 252,42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code
    of Federal Regulations, Department of Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award."

    The Branch County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed bids will be taken by the Board of Road Commissioners for the County of Branch, at their offices located at 23 East Garfield Avenue, Coldwater, Michigan 49036, (517) 278-2022, at 10:45 A.M. on October 16, 2014 for the purchase of used equipment specified:

    The Hillsdale County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Hillsdale at their office at 1919 Hudson Road (M-99), southeast of Hillsdale, Michigan, until 11:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, October 16, 2014, after which all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following: 

    Bid specifications are available at the road commission office by telephone (517) 437-4458.  All bidders are advised to obtain a copy of the bid specs before bidding. 

    Title VI Certification: The Hillsdale County Road Commission assures that all its programs and activities will be free from discrimination, whether those programs and activities are federally funded or not.                                               

                The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive details in the specifications, to waive irregularities in the bidding, and to accept the bids which in their opinion are in the best interest of the road commission.

     
    The Kalamazoo County Road Commission seeks bids for the following:

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Kalamazoo County Road Commission (KCRC), at its offices at 3801 East Kilgore Road, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49001, Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 9:00 am at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the following:

    Bids must be on forms supplied by KCRC and in sealed envelopes with the item and date of opening clearly marked.

    The KCRC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid and to award the bids(s) they deem in the best interest of the KCRC.
